The two pieced squares with the cream and dark brown down the center are on the left side and bottom need to be in the center area...all of your outside squares have a darker color with a darker "bar" down the middle.....to be consistent with all your outside squares, I would move those two and exchange for colored squares...hope this makes sense......love your quilt!

Totally agree! Your quilt, your choice.

I agree with Tartan. I love your colors and layout, but want those large, single-fabric blocks to be something warmer than white. I'd choose a color I love -- not too bright and not too pale -- for those blocks.

I think it is fine - my suggestion though, is to try and put your blocks on a design wall somewhere that you can stand back from it - I do this in the basement where i can get 15 or 20 feet away. You get a much more "cohesive" look and blocks that aren't quite right will be more readily apparent.

I think you did a great job. All colors are very well balance.

Looks good. I think scrappy quilts are awesome. No matter how I try to get things perfect, they never are and everyone thinks they are great. I have a hard time not pointing out what I think should be different but am learning to just say thank you. Enjoy your quilt it is going to be beautiful

There are no rules for scrappy quilts that I know of, and just don't let the "quilt police" in when they come calling! Seriously, your layout looks great! Just move on and do it.

Some people pointed to a block that didn't seem to fit. I think it was the second from the bottom in the second row to the left. That 9-patch could be changed to light in the four corners and it would make more contrast with the surrounding colors. You would just need one more light square to fix it. Or a color that is close for the center of the 9-patch would work.

I see no one likes your design wall as your center squares. LOL

I love the quilt and it will be beautiful when finished.

I think your quilt is great....however I might have made the plain blocks out of eggshell or light ivory instead of white.

This looks pretty well balanced as is, but before you sew may I suggest that you take a look at the following change: in rows 2 and 4, interchange the blocks in columns 1 and 5.
