Asking for pic where you sew...

not pic of your beautiful sewing room BUT your functional sewing area. I have feeling most of us like the letter L.

What do you mean?

I think she means that we have a table perpendicular to our sewing surface, so an "L" shaped work area.
We have a sub forum under pictures called "Mission Organizaton" for photos of work areas showing storage & work rooms:

I think the letter "L" means 'living room'.I hand sew and do redwork in the living room so I can share time with my husband , but for machine sewing I go to our converted two car garage ( my new sewing room). No pics yet, camera broken.

I hand sew at the computer, DH office, living room, kitchen, outside, car. I have a designated sewing room that is like many but have some yardage getting ready to true up and starch and cut. Covered by tablecloths.

Sorry, no picture -- but my main sewing area is L shaped, upside down!!

Mine is strait along one wall. But next to my sewing machine on the other wall is my flannel area for my blocks to hang up. This way all I have to do is stand up to get the blocks I want to sew togather. This is very handy and easy to use.
I just had to replace my computer and now I cant find my pictures of my sewing room. All my pictures are in strange places.

Okay but it ain't fancy. My son is making me a surround for my machine for FMQ but hasn't had time yet. I am in panty production for Christmas right now.

I don't have a table right next to my machine. A shelving unit is to my left, and a chair with a radio setting on it is on the right. I'm constantly getting up from the machine to pin, press or cut, but this works well for me, as I can't sit for too long at one time because of back issues. So my machine is on the west wall, my table is on the north wall and my ironing board and design wall are on the east wall.

Tartan, could you explain how you got your photo posted only once, instead of twice? Also, is there a way to reduce the size of photos? Mine always come out huge. Thanks!

I take my photos with my iPad and it goes into my camera roll and then I just click on the little tree icon above the reply box. I follow the prompts in the tree icon and click upload. The picture appears in the post after I click submit. I never did learn how to post from my computer.
