Aurifil thread

I just ordered some of this thread recently and tried it today for the first time. OMG It is wonderful. I can't believe how nice it sews. I am piecing a wall hanging and what a difference using this thread. I think I will be spoiled now.

Glad you found something to love. It's great when you can sew with something you can depend on. What colors did you get?

I'm hooked on Aurifil also!! It sews beautifully and doesn't leave a ton of lint in my machines.

I love Aurifil for piecing. Am a convert from Mettler.

I love Aurifil and is the only thread I use for piecing. I have about 12 colors, 5 in cones and 7 in spools.

Did you know that the larger end cap pops off? I learned it at a class and it makes using the spool holder on the machine much easier!

Aurifil is my go to thread for all piecing. I have it in many colors but lots of neutrals too.

Yes, get it from Craftsy.com I bought 2 dozen spools from them in early January for less than $8 a spool.

Yep! I love it, too. I call it the "Cadillac" of threads. I buy lots of the smaller spools for hand applique work & a few of the larger ones for piecing & quilting. Patski's tip is a good one. With the little spools you just wind the thread around the lip 3-4x and I've found it stays.
