when i finish all my baby quilts i wash them in baby dreft

I wash mine like i figure the person receiving it would wash it - w/ no special directions. Although, I do wash mine on a delicate cycle. Regular soap (era), delicate cycle and throw it in the dryer. I wash it first because I also want to make sure that no seams fall apart. AND - while i hadn't thought about it, it does look very different after washing it compared to before washing. I can understand some might be upset.
