One of the very nicest things in life is having something to look forward to. Sounds like you have found the perfect way to while away the long winter. Enjoy!

It's not bad at all! OmGoodness, it just means you have a very healthy passion for your quilting. What could possibly be bad about that! You Go, Girl!

No, it's good! I'm working my fingers to the bone on my dgd quilt so it will be ready for Christmas. I am so ready for it to be finished. it turned into the quilt from heck; if something could go wrong, it did.

At this point, I'm relying on the fact that she will look at it through eyes blurred by love!

And, like you, I can't wait for it to be done so I can do something else!

Getting excited about the next project helps me get the current project finished. If my project drags out past 4 months they tend to turn into UFOs. Currently I only have 2 of those, I forced myself to finish the others this year.

Very good thing. I am thinking of the New Years Day mystery quilt. And then there is retreat in January. I am so ready for Christmas to come and gifts to go. Love the holiday but it is so much work. I don't know why I don't plan ahead and do Christmas gifts in January.

One more binding and I am done for Christmas. After Christmas I will be working on a Queen size quilt for my Granddaughter, and finishing up a few things for the Quilt show in July, and what ever else might come along!!

I have recently finished two small quilts, planning on fmq a double bed size quilt for my son for Christmas this weekend and then I will be mostly caught up with my projects. Really hoping that hubby takes my hints and I get fabric or gift certificates for Christmas so I can start something new!

I just sorted all my UFOs and future projects into labelled shoeboxes and I'm chomping at the bit to get going on them!

I am so looking forward to after the holidays. I just started quilting about 7 months ago. I retire in two weeks and will have plenty of time to do more quilting. My problem is that there are SO many things I want to try but don't know what to start first.:)

I, too, am looking forward--one flannel quilt to finish tying and binding and a flannel nightgown for my granddaughter before Christmas--then I'm going to make myself a wagga!
