No I actually feel that way about almost everything I start. I will start thinking, planning, and dreaming of the next project, anxious to get the current one done.

I'm just looking forward to being able to get back to my sewing room:). Had a bad shoulder (bursitis) for the last couple of months, so I wasn't even able to do any Christmas gifts for family.:(

I am not done with my Christmas gifts yet. 2 bindings to sew on quilts and just cut out a lap quilt for my MIL. I can't wait to get through the holidays and dig into some other projects!

A nephew asked me last week if I finish one project before I start another. He was surprised to learn that I usually have three of four projects going at a time and more on the back burner waiting. HA Obviously he doesn't understand quilters!

Oh Lynnie I am so jealous. Good for you to be so organized. :)

Have a church raffle quilt to get at and finish before March 1st. But have to finish 4 table toppers for my daughter and mittens for an elderly friend. My fingers are 'itching' to get at that quilt.

I haven't done much quilting for the past 5 years because I've had serious thyroid problems and have just not felt good. So now, after taking 3 different medications and going through two radioactive iodine ablation procedures, I am now doing hormone replacement therapy and can honestly say that I feel better than I have in years. So, yes, I am excited about getting back to quilting. I have done some crafty things, but I haven't felt like quilting. I have continued to build my stash, purchasing mainly pre-cuts and patterns and kits. I also ordered a new fusible BOM. But (and it's a big but) I do need to finish the 4 BOMs (1 pp, 2 fusible applique, 1 needle turn applique), two mystery quilts and one QOV that I have already started before I start anything new.

Oh yes,I am frazzled getting things done for Christmas together with cards, food and decorations and long for the quiet time after the festivities. Then comes the time to slow down and do 'me quilting'. Don't get me wrong I love all the preparations for Christmas but in spite of the fact that it comes at the same time each year it always seems to catch me on the hop!!-- surely there are others who feel the same ? Why would that be bad? Take time for yourself and enjoy.

It is not bad. It's good that you're still giddy like a child in a candy shop! Good for you!
