Bare foot or sock- just doesn't feel right with a shoe on LOL Even when I go to my Wednesday night group I wear shoes that slip on and off

I'm Bi. I like it both ways (shoes on or off-doesn't matter to me).

Funny you ask-we were laughing tonight at the sew-in about how many single, usually right, shoes were piled up under the table. Me, I'm a barefoot girl. My compromise for pins and cold treadle pedals is my Vibram Fivefingers; all of the benefits of going barefoot, none of the pins in your toes or chilly pedals. Plus, the bottom is a bit sticky, so I can control the pedal better. (I drive 'backwards' anyway, with the pedal turned around, high side closer to me.)

I also sew barefoot or with socks if chilly. Shoes or slippers are off when I go into sewing room

We normally get out of our shoes once inside the house. DH wears slippers while DD's & I wear house socks. I can't sew comfortably with shoes on no matter where I'm at, just hope my feet don't stink when the shoe comes off. Lol :)

I wear slippers when at home (my feet get cold) but when I sew the right slipper is off.

I have to be barefoot!! Can't feel pedal!!

I have to take at least my right shoe off to quilt. Have to "feel" that foot pedal ;)

not me....being diabetic I am UBBER cautious about my feet!

I have always sewn barefoot with or without socks on. Easier to control, I think. :)
