I would bet she met quilterscache.com!

It looks a lot like pinwheels.

this one is correct...it links the block to the next one in the table runner
|
That is such a pretty quilt block, I know why you would like to make it. I have seen something like that somewhere, but I don't recall where.

Try this site and look at the free quilting patterns by manufacturer, maybe you can find a quilt with a similar block and download the pattern.
http://www.fatquartershop.com/freequiltpattern.asp Also, here's a free site that gives you the directions for over 1600 blocks, you have to click on the names but you could browse through and maybe find something similar as well http://quiltbus.com/free-Quilt-Blocks.htm |
It is a beautiful runner. I haven't read this entire thread, but offer the following hoping not to be redundant: Please attempt to draw it on a piece of graph paper. If you look closely, it is a 6x6 patch - 2" grid for a 12" block. You can see enough of the pattern to draw it and then erase the appropriate lines. -- I am sure you can do it.
Let us know. Good luck. Suz |
I imported a picture of a quilt, crop it to one block and then use the trace feature to trace the block and then the tracing is converted to a block drawing in EZ draw. Of course there are no sewing instructions. Sometimes it's better to buy the pattern to get the construction method that makes it easier. I buy patterns/books for the construction methods not the actual block patterns.
