When I came to this piece I didn't hesitate to throw it on the pile, but after I ironed it I questioned myself. Then I thought...I'll go to the Board...they will give me the greatest advice! So, here I am waiting for your answers...thanks!

I have made two Lisa Moore Quilts, have a look on line at Lisa Moore Quilts with a Twist. They are like a stained glass window, I hope this works but have attached a picture of one I have done.

Judy- I love this- what a great idea for this type of panel! I have never seen Lisa Moore's work before...

I have the SAME fabric but with a blue background. I am using it as the border and backing of a Debbie Mumm applique wall hanging.

I would fussy cut the bird houses with the birds when possible

I was thinking tablerunner since the piece is so long...just add a couple of borders...

Would make a great table runner for the spring!

I'd make a valance for the kitchen window, with plain white for the bottoms and a table cloth or runner for the table.

It would also make a cute wallhanging if you fussy cut the little birdhouses and such.

After seeing the photo of your fabric, I immediately went into my closet as I knew I had some of this. Turns out I have a yard with a brown background (looks darker than your background but that might just be the computer) and another much smaller piece with a white background. So, back I go to read through all the postings to see what great ideas the QB came up with for it's use. What have you decided to do with yours?

IMO it's great the way it is and shouldn't be cut up. Someone already suggested this - add borders and use it as a runner.

Too pretty to chop up unless you fussy cut some of the birdhouses for large blocks. It's a great piece.

I agree with Janice... it's too pretty to whack up. Pick some of the colors from it to make some pinwheels or another pattern, or just plain strips or charm pack squares, to expand it to the size you'd need for a quilt back.
