I think you've just caught on to "stash" building!

Sounds familiar and this is something I will always have to do - read and reread!!

I've done the same thing....more than once! Why is it that numbers just don't stay put in my head! I guess it is just the start of more projects...to use up the "mistakes"! LOL

Believe us when we say, you are not the only one that has done this. And really, it's not just open to beginners. LOL

I have a hard time understanding and following directions. I do better if my sis reads it and shows me. Then I can take off on my own and do it.

Been there - done that, too.

Recently I did one where I forgot to trim down the squares in a basket block before I sewed them together and then wondered why the block was fitting together correctly. So I had to pull out Jack and redo it. :)

You are officially intitated and "one of us". And also, we all do this from time to time. :oops: :oops:

Yep, and the gremlins get into the act too. They hide stuff, move stuff around, and then laugh while you go crazy !!!

Yep, you are not alone. I can't and won't say how many times I have done this. Looking a pictures with the patterns is not 'reading' the pattern. I will maybe, hopefully remember this. LOL
