I LOVE this little light. I got it for about $25 on sale somewhere online...Fabric Depot, I think. But it's definitely worth getting.

Even with the shipping ($6.92 for me) It's the least expensive I've seen around.

I bought one of these lights but find it always in the way. Then I forget to turn it on.

I have one of the lights you are referring to and it does work well. However, if you can find a fishing light like was described in another reply, I would try that first (better cost). The light really does help and I am going to buy an additional bracket so that I can use it on both my machines.

That's the one I have and I've had it for about a year. I have no idea how I ever sewed without it. It's wonderful. If i find a portable one that I can use for hand sewing I'll buy it too.

You can buy an extra attachment to move the light from machine to machine but I preferred to have one for each machine.

Ditto, I say!

I have one, too. I do a lot of sewing at night and its worth the price. $24.97 is a great price, I got mine for about 36.00, Will be ordering another one for that price.

Our state quilt guild sold these as a fundraiser and it is the BEST light I have ever seen or used. It is extremely bendable and holds in any position. It is bright (LED) and lights up an exact spot.
It is sold at IKEA and is called JANSJO. The general IKEA # is 19972. The specific number for the pink one is 301.696.72, the red one is 301.696.72. It also comes in black and silver. BTW, it is electric and does not connect to your machine. And the fundraiser price was $15.00

I have the bendable light that attaches to the side of the machine and shines down on the machine needle - I find it is very helpful for checking if you are actually stitching in the ditch and even bends to help stitch rip a few stitches.

I have had it for two years and although it came with two bulbs, I am still using the first one.

I really like it.

Yes, the fishing light was mentioned before, but no details. I asked for some, as I have no clue what this is ... so would you please tell? And perhaps even, a picture?

Thank you!
