The BSR was the reason I bought my Bernina, also. Loved it when I demo'd it. Now, hate it and never use it. I probably haven't practiced with it enough. By the time I bought it, I'd done enough FMQ to get fairly smooth without it, so again, it's probably a lack of practice thing.

I absolutely love my BSR and when I bought my Baby Lock Tiara, I sprang for the Tru-Stitch stitch regulator expecting it to work similarly. Boy was I WRONG. Come to find out, Bernina's BSR is equal to none and made me realize, when I have enough room for a Longarm, it will be a Bernina.

I tried the BSR at my local Bernina dealer, just couldn't get along with it as I learned to FMQ without one. My dealer said that I didn't need it. :)
