I have 4 pair of the same and keep a pair with each sewing machine and hand sewing kit and embroidery kit. I also use them when I clean my machines. Look for that tiny little piece of aggravating lint stuck in the tiniest crack or crevest that keeps the machine from doing it's job.

I recently purchased a Dritz Machine Needle Inserter and Treader from Amazon. It is not that expensive, and works very well for my sewing machine. I haven't found anything yet for sewing needles, but will try the Bohin. Thanks for the information.

I can't use the self threading needles. My thread breaks as I try to pull it down. I never got the knack of doing it and the needles don't seem to be sharp enough. I use Roxanne's needles. They are the best I've found.

For those that use the Bohin threader - do you also use Roxanne needles and does it work on those needles? I've only ever been able to use the Roxanne threaders with the Roxanne needles because the eyes are so small but I'd be willing to give the Bohin one a try if it's somewhat of a known quantity. Thanks.

I use a Clover, but I use a larger needle than the standard hand quilting needle. The problem is the longer needles have a bigger eye in a slightly lower place that lines up with the Clover, where the little hand needles don't line up.

I use the clover threader and have no problem with small quilting needles it does just great.

I use the Clover one also, and it threads all my needles. The clue is how you lay the thread into it.

Another vote for the Bohin threader. One of my closest friends got one and loves it. On her recommendation, I bought one for my mom and she also loves it.

I used my clover it to thread a bunch of really tiny applique needles, they are very tiny roxanne ones, they do have to have an oval eye to work, but the tiny thing I think is somehow misunderstood
