I have the Clover Desk (automatic) needle threader. I love mine. It works great for the little needles. It does not do anything for larger embroidery needles.
I resisted getting one because I was only 44 at the time... two years later I broke down and got reading glasses as well... Cheers, K |
I have been trying to use the threaders from JAF. So hard!! I also use the readers....leave them all over the house! I will try the ones recommended by the wonderful board members. Thanks for all the great information. I always learn from someone else's post!!

I'm glad some one asked this question , I was watching also. And I went on the walmart site and checked and they also have this one you suggested.

I have the clover threader and it works great on the smallest of needles. I pull both sides of thread so it's tight as I push the threader lever down. Works great!!

i have the same issue as you. one of the ladies at bee had a bohin which threads large or small needles... i was using a small betweens with silk thread and her device worked amazingly! so i ordered one from amazon the same day. it came a couple of days ago and i am just thrilled. since i'll keep it in my 'travel' kit, i wanted another one for the sewing room. so i ordered another! i never could get my clover one to work well for me.

Have you tried the DMC threader? At JoAnns in the embordery section. Has three in one. Thread, embordery and yarn.

How is this different from the Clover threader that looks just like this?
I personally don't use one, but my friend Cindi has tried both brands and told me the Bohin was superior, so I got one for my mom. She loves it, by the way. |
