Yeah! this is a good way to use up really thin fabrics that you will not use in the quilt top!

Ooh! I love red and brown! Very striking.

Thanks. Like you, I made it from scraps. A friend saw it and said it would match her living room perfectly, so I gave it to her.

What I do is buy News Paper end rolls. All News Papers have them. Klamath Falls, Oregon sells theirs for 50 cents. Then I cut to the size of printer paper. I copy my patterns on to this. Sometimes I have to hand feed the paper into the printer. The paper tears VERY easily, if there are small pieces left I know they will all but disalve when washed.

I've found that the paper they use in the deli / bakery works well. You can buy by the box and I think there is 3 sizes.

I tried copy paper but it was too thin to go thru the printer. Finally bought the cheapest, thinnest copy paper from Office Depot and it works very well.

Your blocks are just gorgeous. Love the bright, vibrant colors and the pattern is so nice. Good Job! Thanks for sharing and thanks for the tute on paper and foundation piecing. I finally got my little pea brain around the difference some time back but like others have said, for a long time I thought they were one and the same.

I use Carol Doak's paper piecing paper and love it. It copies well and tears off good. I don't like the stuff that you have to wet to remove. Too messy.

I have found that lined notebook paper works great.
