it seems they have more gagets for just about anything if you are willing to buy it. i can make my binding very nice with just my iron.

Too much trouble to use. I just fold my binding in half and press as I fold.

I guess I am a strange one. I like to stand at the iron and mindlessly iron my 2.5 inch strips in half. Then I roll them on a toilet paper roll. Free and only takes about 10 minutes. The free part is best.

Is there a tute for making binding with pins? I looked around a little and didn't see one. Any of you willing to post something with pics? Thanks!
I have a set way of making binding, but would like to see what you all do with the pins. |

I can keep my fingers away from the iron for less than $26.00 |
I don't like to waste money on things that I can do already. I think that it is just that a waste of money. I don't ever burn my fingers. my wrist yes. actually have a burn scar on my wrist from bumping the iron when I went to move the binding down. I will have to start saving my toilet rolls. thanks lisalovequilting, didn't even think to put them on there.

thanks for the input....you all have a point! until a little fairy can come in and magically put it on the quilt, plus clean my house & make me dinner....ill stick to the old fashion way :)
