I want one of these! It looks like pure MAGIC! I hate binding. This would make my quilts take a lot less time to complete! |
you can do almost the same thing by pinning a very large safety pin to your ironing board.
I can keep my fingers away from the iron for less than $26.00 |

I also use the straight pins. The long, large headed ones purchased in the wedding supply aisle. Nothing moves on my big board with them.

I've wanted one of those for a while...to make the bindings for all of the bags that I make. Went to JoAnn's and they don't have the size that I need. This one that you posted doesn't tell you the size :(
The one that I need is 50mm which I THINK is 2". I was never good at converting...lol. I tried the pin trick and it didn't work real well for me. Of course it was the first time I ever heard of it and I expected it to work perfect right away. I gave up and ended up just using the iron and a ruler. Maybe it's something you have to "fool around with". I get impatient REAL QUICK. lol |
Seems expensive to me. I starch my binding fabric and find it easier to handle.

I have the martelli quick bind that i would like to sell. Here is the link on youtube of which one it is (there are different ones and mine is the complete one that sells for $150). Pm if interested.
