Block Magazine
 

Has anyone received their MSQC Block Magazine. I was in their website and it said they were working on the second issue and I have not received the first.

Nope. I'm anxiously awaiting it and checking my mailbox with anticipation each day. Hopefully it will be here soon.

It has been several days since I got an e-mail saying it had been mailed, but I have not received mine either!

I have not received mine either. I remember reading somewhere that they would be shipping out on the 28th. So hopefully it will be soon.

I got my notice Feb 20th they were ready, I'm still waiting too.

I havent' yet either. I am hoping maybe today I will get it.

...I hope it comes soon too.......to get my mind off of the snow that is falling AGAIN!

I'm trying so hard to be patient, but really. At this point, they need to send an email out with the status.

It does help other people posting if they have received it since MSQC hasn't sent a status update email. At least I know it's not lost.

MSQC isn't mailing the magazines, the publisher is. It may be out of their control to know exact delivery date.

I saw somewhere that there was an printer company problem. Maybe due to all the bad weather recently but then I thought okay, go get a cup of coffee and stop sitting at the mailbox. You all do know that a "watched mailbox doesn't get the Block".....just a little humor on another very cold morning.

I got an e mail this week saying they started mailing them last Friday.

They will not be mailed first class so it will take longer than a letter to receive.

I didn't get my copy yet either.

The weather has been so bad back east, that's probably part of the problem. I'm anxious to hear what everyone thinks of the magazine. Is it a MUST subscribe? I'll be watching to hear what everyone has to say.

I was able to attend a truck show with Jenny on Saturday - so fun!! She is such a neat person! She did bring a copy of it and it is fabulous - more like a book than a magazine. Can't wait to get mine!

We had sleet and icicles (in the deep south) yesterday and today it's sunny and we're out in short sleeves! I hope you get you magazine soon so you can dream the snow blues away.

I emailed them this aft'n. They replied saying they should be arriving within 5 business days of Feb 28th. They haven't even rec'd their copy yet either. I can hardly wait.

I saw that on the website and sent them an email. The answer I received back was that the first edition left the printers on the 28th. Surely, we will get it soon!!

I subscribed, but haven't heard a word from them since. So, some of you received notices that they had been mailed? I wonder what the hold up is? I can't wait to get mine!

I hope whatever the holdup is it gets smoothed out for the future editions....not a good beginning!

I received a notice that my credit card had been charged a few weeks ago. Still patiently waiting for it's arrival. If the 5 day rule applies, we should get them tomorrow. Yea!

I have not received the first either but I think they have to prepare, edit, and all that good stuff long, long before an issue is released. So they could be working on the second issue while the first is still current.

Yes, that was humor here in OHIO! Will spring ever get here? At least the sun has been out lately!

Not here in FL either. Was any quilting mag ever wanted to much???? Every day I hold my breath waiting for it to arrive in mailbox and every day it is not here I am let down. Maybe today, and we do not have the excuse of snow here, just grey skys and rain.

I haven't received mine, either. Hope it gets here today as my reward for staying late to meet with parents of my kiddos (parent-teacher conferences).

It's not in Barnes & Noble or Jo-Ann's yet either.

Thanks, KLGLS, for that update on what it looked like....am really looking forward to receiving my first copy. I have never looked forward to a magazine arrival as excitedly as this one.

What is going to be funny is that when we all finally receive the magazine, the board will be very quiet for a while! We will all be enjoying our copy of "Block!" :D

I was going to subscribe, but I already get way too many quilting magazines. Having dealt with MSQ for years I would imagine they just got overwhelmed by the response and are behind.

I doubt it will be, it's subscription or bought per issue from MSQC.

Don't magazines go by a class of mail called "bound and printed matter", or something to that effect? It's a bulk mailing class and is low priority, so it takes a while to be delivered. Same as catalogs, I would think.

We should get our mags any day now.

They are not behind.
