:) That makes me feel better! I guess we are all human, right!

Looks good to me! I wouldn't worry about it. If they spot it, act surprised and offer to fix it. "smile"

If the parents notice and ask about it tell them it's a skill building exercise for the kids and make them promise to let the kids find it.

Often twins have secret ways to "tell the difference". They dont tell anyone either. I vote you leave it as is.

Oh my! My old eyes had a tough time finding it. Don't change it. I read somewhere that the Amish say that nothing is perfect outside of God, and they make a "mistake" on every quilt they make on purpose. If anyone finds this one on yours, just tell them that it's an Amish pattern. :)

Way too hard to find the misplacement! Leave it and if they spot the mistake and say something, smile and ask them if they spotted the mistake on the the pink quilt!

I have tried and tried, but can't find the misplaced piece. I would take Wesing's advice and make it a "find the error" game for the kids as they grow older.

Had a heck of a time finding it. I'd leave it and not mention it.

Love this idea!!

I very much appreciate all the kind words, ideas, suggestions and everyone taking the time to look and respond!! I honestly feel so much better about it and no longer have the urge to fix it! I love the idea of asking if they “can spot the error on the pink one”, find the error game and then I learned something new about the Amish!
