I say leave it as is. Years ago, I made a quilt, and when I picked it up from the LA'er, and she said "Do you know one of your blocks is backwards?". She looked and looked, to point it out to me, and, even knowing it was there, she couldn't find that mistake again. Every once in a while, I look for that mistake, and still have a hard time finding it, lol.

If it really Bothers you, you could carefully appliqué a patch going the right way, then trim away the other or leave it, and quilt to match what you started.

Oh heavens... fagetaboutit! It's so hard to spot, especially by a non-quilter. Not a big enough deal to change.

Nice quilts. I would leave the error alone. It's not noticeable at all. By the way the Amish myth of making a mistake is just that a myth. Several Amish quilters told me that no Amish never intentionally made a mistake in doing anything. To believe that they could be perfect was vain.

I am pretty sure if the parents aren't quilters they will not have a clue. And probably put the quilts down backing side up! At least that is the experience of most of my quilting friends when they get pictures

It sounds like only the blue one is quilted so I suppose you could change the pink one to match the blue.

I think the error makes it look like one of those MC Escher art works where the stairs somehow come back on themselves. It's more interesting that way, and maybe the babes will turn out more creative because of it.

And the biggest thing is to not bother to even point it out to anyone. Such a busy quilt, one little HST is not going to damage the overall look of this complicated pattern.
