You can get a bag of 300 for a buck at Family Dollar. Dollar Tree and Dollar General don't have the big bags. I've been using them for a couple of years on my bobbins. Another big advantage is if you drop your bobbin with one of them on it it doesn't roll away.

ok, I am not up to par with girl hair thingies.
my great nieces has some of these to put in her hair, are these the same things? sorry does sound kinda dumb, but I don't have any little girls hanging around me!(wish I did though)and small rubber bands placed around the bobbin, who would have guessed! I think I will go get a bag today!

Thank you so much. I have never been able to control my bobbin treads. I am going to my dollar store tomorrow.
