Which border?
3 Attachment(s)
I have played with dozens of borders, and I have narrowed it down to two. They are very similar, just reversing the two inner borders. Which do you prefer?
Thanks for any input. :) Dina |
I like the blue on the inside. It helps set it off the white seems to blend more. But that is just me.

Well #1 is a floating effect. #2 is a step effect. I myself like #2. How is going to use the quilt. That is a lot of white in #1. So I would take that into consideration as well! Luann

the second one for sure. looks great!!!
I like #2 the best.
I like the tiny blue. It frames it . Pretty quilt. Sorry after I looked at it again, I like the larger blue. It draws you into the quilt more.
I would go with #2. I saw #1 first and thought oh, that is beautiful and then I scrolled down to #2 and was bowled over by the difference. Just love #2.
I like the second one the best.
Okay, I was leaning towards the second, and now I am leaning more that way. Thanks. I think I will go ahead and cut the fabric and just go with it. The first is the border arrangement that the pattern suggested. It second just seems to tone down the white a bit.
Thanks. Dina |
I like ths second one the best.
I like the wider blue myself. I think it sets off the piecing better.
I like the second one better too. Seems to anchor it better to me and makes it all pop better.

Definitely number two.
I vote for the 2nd. one, too. More dramatic.
my vote is with #2
I don't like the effect of the outer border. What will your binding look like?
Blue on inside for me too!

Though I have enough of the daisy print that I could go with that....leaning towards blue.
I like the second one, love the quilt
I would choose #2 but make the blue narrower and the white a bit wider.
#2 is my vote. I like the way the blue frames it all.
I like the second one.
I like the blue best. It really makes the top pop.
i like # 2 best it really makes the quilt pop the first one kinda fades it out even though theyre the same colors just reversed unless the person recieving it doesnt care for blue or something in which case youd be in trouble ))).

I agree with others -- at first I liked #1 and then #2 grew on me.
I like the second one.
I like the first one, I see all quilt... the second one all I see is the blue border...
Second picture definitely

Like both, but #2 is the one! Pretty fabric!
I vote for the second one.
I also vote for #2
The first one - love the fabric!
I like #2.
I also like the 2nd one the best
I like the second one. That way the white blocks are not running into the white border. Very pretty.

I have another option for you. I would put a small (1/2" or 1" border of the green) around the main design. I personally don't like the main colors of quilt to be in the first border. Then you can use either the white or the blue as the next border. Just a thought.
