Thanks everyone. I bought more of the second red this morning and will probably go with that. The black border just makes it bolder than I like. The red is more comfortable. I truly appreciate all the opinions. You all gave me plenty to think about.

None of my business I know . . . but I was so sorry to see that you decided against that very first pic. The quilt will be beautiful regardless of which borders you choose . . . but that first one was absolutely gorgeous!

Definitely the red, either one would work but I think I like the last one the best.

I love the colors...they really pop. Black would be a great choice with a dark red binding. Please share when you are finished.

The black makes the quilt pop. Very nice.

I think the black sets off the center better.

I like the black with a small inner border of white. I think the black really pops but the red is nice too and makes your quilt a little calmer. Either one will look nice.
