Depending on your remaining fabrics:
1) If you have enough paisley, how about 3" paisley border, with dark blue to match its darkest portion as both faux piping and binding, or just binding. Perhaps your navy backing would work. 2) Dark blue border, preferably in subtle pattern somewhat similar to medium blue, bound with paisley. 3) Same dark blue as #2, but bound with pieced bias strip of your block fabrics. |
The border doesn't have to be the exact fabric in your quilt. If you can find a dark blue of the same hue it would still match. Sometimes it's nice to bring in another fabric.

The paisley would be so beautiful, or maybe...black???
|
there is a darker blue (or navy) in the print...try matching that one forthe border. even a mini print that is darker would work.
|
I would try the navy background you used in blocks. It should look a frame to a picture.

Did you check on line? so a search for either fabric maker or fabric name. You can even search Ebay or Etsy for it. Also I was taught not to use a fabric from the main quilt top for a border since same fabric will draw your eye to that fabric in the quilt and make it stand out detracting from the others.

Beautiful quilt. If you can't get the dark blue, I would go with the paisley.
|
Beautiful quilt. Could you please tell me the name of the pattern? I was looking for something to make with blues for my daughter. This would be great.Thanks.

That paisly fabric would make a sweet border, if you have more of that or look for another blue patterned paisly. :XD:
|
That is really gorgeous! Love the shades of blue.
