Just wanted to give you another ideal
I bought a 12 pack of birds-eye prefolded diapers and make burp cloths out of Just trimmed them out . |
i just sew 2 pieces of flannel sewn right sides togather turn and sew all arounf no batting
|
I use cloth diapers and add flannel to the one side. Layer the flannel and diaper together, sew around all sides leaving a section open to turn inside out and slip stich the opening. My friends love them. The flannel helps to keep them from slipping off the shoulder.

Are their directions for "Burp Cloths"?

The prefolder diaper was thick enough to keep it all on the cloth ! hah! Beautiful examples here ! Thanks for posting. Ell |
I don't make the burp cloths but order them from a friend in SC and she uses diapers and embroiders on top and makes blankets to match and people love them that I have given them to.They are so cute.

Mom's seem to love them as they always request additional burps! thanks robin |
I have a pattern and instructions. If you are interested PM me.

I use flannel on each side - so it can be used more than once if need be - and also used a very thin batting - made it a bit more absorbent; my neice loved those with the batting moreso than just two layers of flannel... and I also did a little "quilting" to make it stay in place plus it gave it a bit of stability when put over your shoulder.
