It looks great! I love that you put the boarder around each piece that really helped the look.

I finally ripped out my mistakes and redid it. I really shouldnt work on quilting when Im tired. but I like to do it and I am always tired. so I guess I have to learn to live with it.

I also put a boarder on my walhanging and I like it so much better. Its kinda Christmasy looking.
Now I need to learn how to put the backing and binding on it. is there a tutorial on this somewhere? I would like to finish this and give it to mom for her birthday. (Moms always think your works are great!LOL) JoAnn

I promise to get my quilt top posted as soon as I figure out which end is up and have time to catch my breath. Business has needed more attention than usual. this is actually a good thing!!

Hp! Great JOB!!! here is a link that may help you out.. http://www.victorianaquiltdesigns.ne...gYourQuilt.htm I posted this earlier... for the process of putting the quilt together. Now for design, for a beginner, try meandering? or maybe an all over design kind of thing. I hope that helps.

I finally finished my quilt. After putting all the rows together I decided to do a quilt as you go since it was the queen size. I outline quilted mine, rearranged the blocks so all the focus squares would be on top, and added the contrast between the blocks. Thanks for the mystery. I enjoyed it ( except all the picking out I did! )

Jagsd3 02-17-2011 06:26 PM
