yep, i have the Bella Bella book, quilts made from tile floor designs. someone could figure out that for you on EQ6 or 7. I don't have it. or you could do it on graf paper. you only need to do 1/4 of it, then repeat that when you make it up for the other three sections. lovely photo.

I have that exact tile inset by my front door and look at it every day and wonder the same thing. Just haven't taken time to sit down and draw it out. Someday!

Ask the tile people at the home improvement store for the patttern information. Someone has to have a pattern for the tile setters to go from to make this design.

Well....you NEED to read this book! Works already been done for you!

what about copyright laws I would really be concerned about making an exact copy of it

That will make a beautiful quilt. I can see it now, but I'm not good with picking colors. It is a great pattern. Would love to have several of the stones in my yard.

Almost all the pattern is "even" except the outer ring. I would draft the outer ring--make the pieces larger until the points of the star touches a space between the outer curved sections. Then it shouldn't be too hard to draft and make the pieces fit. Good luck and let us see the finished product.

That would be a gorgeous stained glass window quilt. I love this design.
