Of course you can mix.I have just started trip around the world and needed a pale it is a batik the only one of the 9 fabrics in the quilt it sews like any fabric and washes like any good one .I have also done the reverse where the batik was dominant and the fabric was in the minority I have done this for more than 15 years with no problems.Go for it.

Of course you can, and the results can be spectacular. They can sometimes be slightly heavier than regular quilting fabric, however, once they are pressed, they tend to stay that way longer, which is a trait I really like, besides the fabulous colors.

Absolutely! You can even mix them with silks, satins and other fabrics. I would not recommend mixing them with polyester fabrics because batiks need a hot iron and the poly will melt. You may need to take care when mixing them with fabrics other than quilting cottons with the ironing.

Yep just go for it.

No reason not to. Some people don't like to, but if you like the fabrics together, go for it!

its your fabric! I mix regular quilt fabrics with batiks all the time.
