I've never been on eBay before, but last week decided to give it a look for a Pfaff Expression 3.0. There was one, never been used, and (I'm still pinching myself) I won the bid! This is a $2100 machine and I got it for just $913!! The only machine I've ever had is a Kenmore 12-stitch that I got 20 years ago. It's a real workhorse, but I'm going into business next year and will need the ability to machine quilt and machine applique. I'm beyond excited and can't wait for my new baby to arrive! :-D :-D

I have to say, I was really nervous waiting for the bidding to close. I hadn't wanted to go above $840 but at the encouragement of my folks, who were watching on their computer in Texas, I bid higher. I'm so glad I did. Still have some butterflies in my stomach. lol

You will love your Pfaff! I have 2 Pfaff machines and a Pfaff serger. They are wonderful machines. My 7550, I've had for 12 years and the only thing I have ever done is regular tune ups. It's a real work horse and it sews like a dream! Congratulations on you new machine.

wow, that is a great deal. The quilt shop I worked in sold only Pfaff machines and they are awesome. My boss used to let me use hers, I told her she needed to pay me more so I could afford one.. Ah, such is life for a single mom!! lol Happy stitchin and a quilting business???? Congrats! Robin

It is a wonderful machine (I have the same one) and you'll have years of fun and quilting with it. Congrats on the great price also. Mine wasn't under $1000, but that's okay, I still love it.

It's nice to hear that you like yours so well. I found lots of reviews/opinions on the 2.0 and the 4.0 but not much on this one. But this is the one that fit my needs best and I know I'll enjoy it.

This is an excellent buy as she has really pampered this machine .....is this a good deal? Of course it might be gone by now lol

I've had the same machine for about a year and half. I love it--it sews beautifully and I'm just learning FMQ on it, but so far, so good. I think you will really enjoy it! I have added many extra feet to my collection and just bought a new bobbin case so that I can experiment with various decorative threads in the bobbin and change the tensionas necessary, but keep my original bobbin on factory set tension for piecing. Enjoy!!

Congratulations! You will love your new machine. I have the Expression 2.0 and it is a dream - just not quite as many features as the 3.0. Bought mine on sale almost 2 years ago, and paid more than $1000. I use the heck out of it AND my Pfaff Creative 7530. Great machines.
