I saw a tote bag made with selvages and it was very interesting to look at! People that don't sew can't imagine what these odd stripes are!

When working with selvage strips how do you stitch down along the bound edge? Or do you stitch that side? My brain just isn't fitting around this process. It looks like a fun use of the pieces. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you . Joyce in Delaware

this makes me ashamed of my garbage bin. i know i should save and donate, or save and use....but i hit a point where i need stuff cleaned up. i need to get better about these things.

Recycling at it's best! I have a hard time throwing out scraps as well. Fortunately there is a shop that collects all forms of scraps and battings for dog beds.
