I bought 2 twin chenille bedspreads in a gorgeous yellow. My walls are English Hyacinthe (light lavender) and they really look nice on the beds. However, I find them very linty. I washed them a couple of times before using them and dried in the dryer to see if that would help but they still shed lint.

I love them. I also love chenille quilts and would love to make one. I guess if you found a pretty chenille bedspread that had some "bad" spots in it, you could use it to make a quilt...OR if you wanted to turn some antique ones into quilts if that would make them more "usable" to you. I used to always have chenille robes when I was a little girl, I still love them.

I love them. I make bed jackets out of them. Soft and warm.

I was in a NC LQS a few years ago and they were making an all white chenille wedding quilt..it was magnificent.

I have made chenille lap quilts but I am wondering how they would join them to make them into a larger quilt.

Anyone know how that is achieved?

WalMart has an already pieced baby fabric with some pink chenille squares in it. I think the rest are flannel. I have been considering buying it to make a throw for person with Alzheimer's. The tactile feeling is supposed to be comforting.

Bought a 1/2 of one at a yard sale. They had used it for pillows, don't know how, but it's white, and thin. it has pink flowers
on it.

I remember having one growing up. Do they still make them?
