love your block. ove how you were able to add a new fabric every bulb.

I have not done a quilt-as-you-go yet, so I have no suggestions in response to your question. But, I wanted to say what an adorable block that is!

I hadn't heard of that method, binding each block as though it were a finished quilt and then whip-stitching the blocks together. Hmmm, I'll have to look that up. :)

Love the Block and the idea. Will you be posting pictures of the other blocks?

Your exchange block design for this year, could make a great border idea for your quilt.

I am working on my second QAG and have not found a method that works real well for me. I have never heard of "potholder quilts" but have wondered if binding small quilts then sewing them together would work. Thank you for the answer to my question and thanks so much for all the help.

I have not yet experienced a QAYG but my LQS will be conducting a class this spring...I just want to say I love your colorful Christmas lights block.

After Christmas, I will put my design wall back up to hang the blocks. Right now I have a sleigh quilt hung and a wrapping paper center set up in my sewing room. Stay tuned.
