You need to call them and tell them what happened. I wouldn't be surprised if they offered to replace the order.

Stop!!!I order several items from Clotilde and all was OK. The last time I ordered,I ordered a plastic case for my tools that turn fabric. Upon receiving this item it was wrapped in plastic and broke. I called and asked for it to be replaced and was told I would have to pay postage and the item was off sale and I would have to pay full price. I argued and got no where. I will NOT!! order from them again. GrantIowa

I just got an order, haven't had trouble with them. Sometimes something is on back order, but that can happen anywhere. I'm a satisfied customer.

Order from them several times. No problems here. And yes the service department is awesome. I had order zippers by the yard. You make your own zipper length. Anyway I needed more zipper pulls. They gave me a number to call that gave me a web address to order more pulls. I am a happy camper. K

I just got an order from them last week! I have had no probems with them so far.

Some years ago I ordered 4 cones of non rotting black thread, to make 2 fishing shanties. They send me 4 cones of linen colored machine quilting thread. I got to keep the linen thread and they sent me the thread ordered. I made the shanties, we used the them twice. I used the quilting thread all the time, for hand quilting. I love it and wouldn't use anything else.
I have never had a problem with Clotilde.
