I like it with the purple. I made a coin quilt also. Everybody lived it.

Purple adds sparkle and energy to the quilt. I'd leave it in.

Don't know what you intend to use for the sashing but I think I'd like #2 with the purple used for sashing. In #1 the purple seems to overpower the other more subtle colors. My opinion.

Put the purple in! A little pop of color adds so much to your quilt.

Definitely. Otherwise it's too monochromatic/ho hum. IMHO

I think the purple helps bring all the colors together.
