I've been selling off my scrapbooking stuff and rubber stamps. I found that it is an okay hoby but my passion is quilting and sewing.

I didn't get into the whole scrap-booking thing. I have many photo albums no one looks at or wants to see, so there would be no point to it.

I love the creativity of the books and wish it was different.

I noticed when I go to Michael's there are so many rows dedicated to scrap-booking. Joanne's is doing it too!

Oh, you asked ... Yes, go ahead and sell. I think you'll feel better without the clutter.
Now why didn't I think about selling the kids..hehehe I have 7 still at home.
OTE]I bet you wouldn't take a million dollars for even ONE of them, either. How many are out of the nest, if I may ask. That littlest guy tugs at my heart because he reminds me of my grandson/greatgrandson!

In theory, it is a great idea. Not sure how much you will actually get for it though... I've got shelves of scrapbook and stamping supplies - but I do spend time using them. My big regret is the investment in the sizzix dies, but I can use some of them to cut fabric for applique, so not a total waste.

Cheers, K

I have been contemplating the same thing but just haven't made up my mind yet. I say go for it!

It's your stuff,do what you want with it.

I say "go for it!" I refused to get sucked into the scrapbooking bug. I figured if I could just get my pictures printed out and put in an album that I could be satisfied with that--and keep my focus on other hobbies. I already had stuff for cross stitch, crochet, knitting and sewing. But my daughters...one got into jewelry pretty big and the other into scrapbooking. We bought stuff for them. However, as they leave home, their stuff goes with them...at least gradually.

It would depend on whether you plan on scrapbooking again. If you are like me you have a lot of stuff on hand if you were serious about the hobby. I have over $10,000 tied up in my scrapbooking supplies and tools and still use them all. Between my quilting (first love) and scrappin my DH thinks I'm crazy but I do have fun with my hobbies. Now that I'm retired I don't have to worry about buying any more. Oh yes, I have thousands of pictures because I love my photography.
