I was wondering on making a double wedding ring quilt. What is thebest and easiest pattern to use? I havent worked verymuch with curves. My mom has been wanting one for years, so asim trying to gather enough scraps for a postage stamp I would try my handat it. Thanks for any advice!

Understand the typing learning curve. But now I'm so used to iPad it feels weird typing on keyboard. Sorry never did the wedding ring pattern.

There are some cheater (easier) ways to make double wedding ring ... check out some of those on the internet. I started one but did not get very far with it. Good luck to you.

Do you want to make the kind with a solid arc piece (I don't know the "real" name of it --- sorry!) or the pieced kind?

Eleanor Burns does a video showing how to make one in her "Egg Money Quilts". she uses Quiltsmart interfacing and a wedge template

In some patterns the circles are not round, but more like squares with rounded corners, while other patterns make circles which are round (in case it matters to you). There are also templates for the shapes you can rotary cut around. I have always thought I would buy them when I got around to making one of these--just haven't done it yet.

share what you find as this is definitely on my "to do" list!

I would go for the Eleanor Burns one in Egg Money Quilt. It is super easy and very quick.

I made one this spring and it is definately the hardest quilt I have made. Eleanor Burns makes everything easy so I would try her pattern. I did not have good instructions and I am sure that made it harder to do than if I had had good instructions. Good luck.
