Carla79: I googled and found these:

http://www.french-knots.com/wp-conte...dding_ring.pdf
http://www.quilterscache.com/D/Doubl...RingBlock.html

Hopefully out of these you can find what you are looking for. Good luck. I can't wait to see photos of your first Wedding Ring quilt! My mother also loves this quilt so if yours turns out I may just have to give it a try!

Someone posted a photo of a lovely DWR that looked to be possably a QAYG. Looked like that would be doable. Don't remember the poster, but perhaps she/he will see this and join in.. Good luck. DWRs are an altime favorite!

You might want to check out Linda Frantz's Inklingo. She has the double wedding pattern where you print the pieces on your fabric using freezer paper.

I am using die cut pieces with the large one pieces arc. I am finding the pattern easier than I thought it would be, but again, I am using die cut fabric. Sending you a PM.

I have instructions and ruler for the DWR from Cheryl Phillips that I bought years ago at a show. She sewed strips together and then cut with the ruler. The book is called Rings that bind. Looked really easy. Have it on the to do list. Her link is http://www.phillipsfiberart.com/faq/

If I were going to make a DWR quilt, I would use Judy Niemeyer's method. Here is the link to that:

Here is some discussion on this board awhile back that I have bookmarked. There are several ideas there, as well:

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

this was the first DWR I've ever made.
I used the templates of Shar Jorgenson and I was surprised how easy it was to make this quilt.
I know already I'm going to make at least one more in the future

Fien777, this looks like my first Wedding Ring Quilt....I made it in the late 90's using blues and mauve. As a beginner I too was surprised at how non-difficult it was. The arcs are better than making so many little pieces.

QUILT SMART!!!!!!

I've started this quilt 10 times over the past years. I finally broke down and bought a quilt smart packet (WITH THE TEMPLATE) and it is a BREEZE!!! I love it.
