I took all my coupons down to Joann's yesterday and used all 5 in one sale for 5 separate items. It gave me over $15 in savings. It was worth it.
I've been trying to get their VIP card for over 3 years and still no luck. On the mailing list, emailing list, and a member of our local guild but still can't seem to get that card. Wish I knew what was the secret to getting it! |
I tried that at our Joanns and she just growled at me. Told her they didn't do that and I would have to have an actual coupon.

My store does it as long as you have a coupon for each item. Some of them say craft, fabric etc. I can match them up to what I'm buying and all is good.
|
Our store will let you use one coupon for each regular priced item.

I found out yesterday that batting is not considered a fabric purchase. Before I bought a bunch, I asked the gal cutting the batting if I could use the coupon (I showed her the 50% off reg. priced fabric) and she said yes. In checking out, I was told 'no'. They honored the sale & coupon, but she was on the communication system telling the cutting table to be sure and tell customers they can't use that coupon on batting while I was paying! It's not a notion either she said! I've never seen a coupon for 'batting only'....lol

This has probably already been said, but I didn't read every post:
When J's has a Coupon Bonanza, like they are currently doing (through today, March 10), you can use multiple coupons in your transaction. When I checked out on Monday and again on Thursday, the clerk actually went through my brochure and clicked on every coupon to see what would be applied. At both trips, I was able to use coupons for every item purchased. I love their batiks, but they are expensive, even at J's. I loaded up on some batiks that I would not have gotten without the coupons. Only a few hours left! |
The Joann's I visit takes coupons from Hancock's, Michael's and Hobby Lobby. I have never used any but their cashier told me this last time I was there and their sign says this. Just print them off the net and take them in. Could save a bunch!

You can find the app on Joanns website. I have it and it is really nice. The clerks just take your phone and punch in the number on the coupon. No problem at all.

Just a heads up - you can always print out your own coupons from coupons sites.
I like this site : http://dealspl.us/joann-coupons They have a 20% off of your total order (sale items included) that's valid until 3/14. I used it a few days ago - their quilting notions were 50% off and 40% off Friskas sale, 40% off of packaged batting. 20% off of 50% off is a pretty good deal! I ended up paying 55$ for my purchases (rotary cutter, grid, self-healing mat, pens, Printed Treasures kit and batting) - my bill said I saved 67.44$. I love saving more than I paid! :D The coupon rang as "20% off mailer" - awesome! |
Our store is 1 coupon per regular priced item but can use all the coupons you have as long as you pick up the items. Of course, all the coupons have to have a different bar #. However, I find, when they have really good coupons, I have a hard time finding something that isn't on sale.
