Does anyone know how to do the curved piecing technique like what is shown on the Vicorian Table Runner Pattern on page 82 of the Clothilde cataloge? It is NOT curved piecing...somehow you use regular squares and you come out with a curve in your design.

Can you show us pictures of what you mean?

Here is a pic of it. I don't think these curves are sewn as curved pieces...but I may be wrong..I may just buy the pattern to find out.
*** i had to be a stick in the mud and delete the picture. it must be copyrighted. luckily, mary shared a pic with us of her finished quilt. just as good a reference. thanks, mary. :-) ** |

I'm gonna have to...and I just told myself that I need to not buy anything for a little while.

Yes, I agree buy it. That is gorgeous. The ones here that are good with curves will help you. That even make me want to try curves. Something I am very afraid of. Wish I had someplace to use a table runner.

Absolutely gorgeous!!Please let us know if you get the pattern and how "easy" it is.
|
It sure is dramatic, but to me, it looks like curved piecing.

I have that pattern. It isn't curved piecing at all.
I made mine into a queensize quilt though. |
