I am currently working on a D9P for a Christmas gift. I used two colors, but did half the blocks with the light fabric in the corners and half with the dark. I have the blocks done and ready for the next step.

I have made the D9P using charm packs. I was thrilled with the way it turned out since it was my first completed quilt. Might be a bit busy for some, but not for me.

Thanks for asking. I really enjoy looking at the different patterns and colors!

I made a table runner for my mom and used a charm pack. I put them together randomly.

I made my last one, the 16" x 22" just gib enough so I could tuck it in a basket that one of my cat lies on. I just finished it yesterday, and so far he has ignored it. |
I had a friend who did a D9Patch with only three fabrics - all the same placement. When she assembled the quilt, she put all the blocks on point, all facing exactly the same way. It was amazing.

It is hard to go wrong with D9P. Whatever you decide will be pretty.

Here are my latest two D9P. I love this block and it's many variations.

What size can you get out of one charm pack?

I think I used 8 or 9...not including the outer border
