If you have a photo of your d9p can you post it and tell me how many different fabrics used and the placement of the fabrics to make your specific quilt? I am leaning towards 4 to 5 fabrics. Thanks in advance.

These are so much fun becasue you can do a LOT of variations that look complex but are actaully pretty simple. Here's a baby quilt I did in blues and I am finishing a larger one where I spun the blocks.

I love your cat quilts. Who could be more worthy of their own quilt than a faithful and loving cat?

I did a B&W with Turquoise and am working on a blue/green/yellow one. I like the B&W one best. The other one is busier than I envisioned. I only have a pic of the B&W one and the safari one, not for the blue/green/yellow. The Safari one I made using a panel for the squares and border print for the border.

Love both of your quilts!!!

I love D9Ps too. Here are a few I have done.
The whirlygigs was done with all scraps of musical fabrics and some other scraps to finish it out.
Butterflies and flowers floating around the pink and purple theme.
In the last one I used only blue and yellow but used 3 or 4 shades of each.

I can never just do things the simple way so I did a twisted sampler style version. I believe I used 3 fabrics. I purposely made each block different and forced myself to use at least one normal D9P in each block.

WOW!!!! Very unique! Love it!

Not sure how to add a picture when I'm replying to a topic, so here is the link for one I did for my son a couple of years ago for their 5th anniversary, (divorce is to be final this Friday). I did it with charm packs. It's the third one down. This was one of the first quilts I did, and of all things I do a king size.
