Are your scraps big enough to piece a piano key border? If so a dark narrow border followed by the piano key border might be really pretty.

That is gorgeous, way better than the D9P - your idea was brilliant - don't think I would have had the nerve to do that - I would have worried about wasting the fabric cos it might have looked worse instead of better. What do you call your new pattern?
