Did you watch Deb Tucker's video on youtube? It may even be on her Studio 180 website? I think her rulers are great.

For future reference, Deb Tucker has many helpful things on her website. You can even see her demonstration boards (like she had at the show). I think she many even have videos online, but I'm not 100% sure about the videos. Her rulers are wonderful and she's a delight.

I think Deb is also producing CD's you can purchase with instructions. I love her stuff. I buy something at every quilt show. Would love to teach but there just isn't time with the longarm quilting.

To me, Deb Tuckers are the easiest instructions to follow. I have seen the other one and it is how do I say, Deb Tuckers is the best for me. It doesn't mean that my way is better, it just means that their way is better for them.

Of course, with money in the PayPal account, I just had to have these rulers. It looks real simple. I just have a lot of trouble deciding which fabric to use...I waver back and forth. I bought both the large and the petite rulers and it was $54.00 with shipping.

About the accuquilt vs. the Deb Tucker rullers, I believe you could use both. Use the accuquilt to cut the strips, but the ruler angles are no where to be found on an accuquilt...I have one of those also.

My bucket list needs a bigger bucket.

Just wondering if anyone has made a Hunter's Star this way and also with the Accuquilt cutter and can compare the two approaches.

Thanks for this link. I loved the blog post with 40 variations on layout of Hunter's Star...fun to see the options.

I have the Accuquilt Go Hunter's Star die but haven't used it yet. I also have Debbie Maddy's Hunter's Star pattern made with all squares and hsts. I made a few blocks using her pattern. Very easy.
