I have done it the PP method and to me, it seems a whole lot easier than this "not so rapid" method. I went to the web site and it looked mighty complicated to me.

I did the exact same thing at a quilt show a couple of years ago. It all looked so simple. I've read the booklet quite a few times and I still don't know what to do. Thank you for the confirmation that I'm not alone when it comes to buying things at quilt shows and then wondering why did I do that. One thing I did buy at a quilt show, and absolutely love, is the slide lock ruler. You put it down on your fabric, press down and it doesn't move so you can make accurate cuts. It was worth every penny.

I used her Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star Ruler and it was great! The results were much better than when I followed the instructions from the person teaching the Lemoyne Star! I'll have to check out the Hunter Star now.

Thanks for the info. I have had the ruler for several years. Everytime I run across it I think I need to do this. But just never seem to do it. I need to finish this.

Fons and Porter has videos of this method under their TV shows. Then search for Hunters Star

She was at the AQS Show yesterday in Phoenix. I was tempted but didn't get it, now you are making me wish I had.

Here is one for March for our faculty room at school |
Thanks for sharing - I have the ruler too in a drawer. Perhaps I will be motivated to get one done. Glad you figured out technology...lol. Love your quilts.
