Deelybob! I had to look that up on the net. I have heard of the adaptors but did not now what they were called. LOL while growing up my Grand mothers referred to anything they could not remember the correct name for as the deelybob! Have not heard that word in years.

I have never used these but they look really neat!

Learn something new today, I had no clue what a Deelybob was. I've heard of a thiga-a-ma-bob, I was pretty sure it was its cousin....I was wrong!

Thanks for the info.

Well I'll be !! I thought deelybob was a word that was used when you didn't know the name of something.

a friend told me to put a serger spool in a big cup.
works like magic, and costs nothing. |
I just use an empty cone and put it into the cone I want to use from the bottom. It holds the top spool up so that the thread does not bind when it unwinds. Cheap, easy, quick! If you need to you can set it in a quart jar behind your machine so it will not tip over.

I found my Guterman cone clicks into the top of an empty Guterman spool.....works like a charm. Before that I used a coffee mug to set the cone in.
