I had one of those... I wasn't real satisfied w/it. It was suppose to be one that could be taken off & used repeatedly, but it left a residue on the wall & it didn't restick very well.

Here is what I discovered just yesterday..........505 quilting spray will adhere flannel to a door or wall.I covered the back of my door with the same flannel as my design wall. I can use it for smaller projects . The adhesive washes away easily if you remove the flannel!!I sprayed the back of the door, then smoothed the flannel in place.I had to lift it in a few places, and it stuck back down easily!!!

I also made my own. Bought 2 sheets of 1/2 inch foam insulation and cut them so I have a 6 ft x 6 ft design wall. I covered it with flannel and used double stick tape to attach to the wall. It works great!

I used a 4 x 8 piece of batt board (from home depot). stretched a piece of batting to the back and tacked it down, then stretched a piece of flannel to the back and tacked it down. When stood up in my sewing room (8' ceilings), the board is wedged tight between the floor and the ceiling. No need to attach it to the wall - it is stuck!

My friend uses a flannel-backed vinyl tablecloth as a design wall. She folded over one edge to make a sleeve for a curtain rod. It's portable and can be rolled up when not in use.

When I was at Paducah this guy was selling a magnetic setup which my GF and I thought we could do with stuff from Home Depot.

Aren't quilters the MOST resourseful people?
