take him to the store to replace them.

since I don't use them for my sewing that is okay, I just walked over to his desk, opened his drawer and stole his scissors. Told him until mine could at least cut 1 piece of paper his scissors were mine.

i always send my Gingers back to the company for sharpening.

when my scissors get dull I get out a piece of sandpaper and cut a few pieces; sharpens them right up. My knife sharpener also has a scissor sharpener on it. But don't you just "love" it when our loved ones want to "help" to make it "easier" on us. Gotta love thier hearts though

Hey, I chased my husband with a hammer and made a believer out of him when he would use my tools and I would never see them. The threat worked.

Just leave those scissors out in plain sight, and hide the new ones in a box in the drawer..
If he tries to cut with the ones he sharpened, he will realize... |
Why get mad? This would be a perfect reason ( if you need one) to get a brand new pair.. sounds like a win win situation to me.. I lose mine all the time.. so I just go out and buy another one.. lose that one too and go out and buy another one.. Joannes is always having 50% sales.. One day Ill find them all.. maybe..

If it were my DH, he would also get the "IF you EVER lay your hand on my sewing scissors and ruin them, it will not matter, because they will be still be sharp enough for me to stab you." lol |
