S*H*E
D*I*D !!
JOANN"S called my name sooooooo loudly.
I bought
I bought
I bought
HOWEVER... at the bottom of my receipt...
it says my TOTAL SAVINGS were
$1,065.33
couldn't turn my nose up at that; could I ?

DebinNY 11-26-2010 03:27 PM

OMG!!! Sounds like you bought out the store... May I ask how much you paid???

I walked into our local Joann this morning & turned around and walked out... There had to be 50-75 people at the cutting table... And almost that many in the checkout line. :!:

greensleeves 11-26-2010 03:29 PM

Its how much you saved, not how much you spent. Now you have all that savings to spend elsewhere--that is the way it works, right? :)

In and out in 2-hours.
this usually takes alot longer.

buslady 11-26-2010 03:34 PM

I really wanted to go there, but was too scared! Hour drive to the nearest, and the lines are always very long, couldn't imagine what they would be like today. Maybe next year.

DebinNY 11-26-2010 03:37 PM

   That's AWESOME!!! What a great deal!!!

What time did you go? There weren't more than 100 shoppers total by 10 a.m. at my store! Of course, everybody else had to go to the other side of the cutting table, because I had 4 cartsful!

Chasing Hawk 11-26-2010 03:43 PM

I spent $32.00 at JoAnn's online.....lol

9 yds of fabric and a ruler. :)

I am trying not to stress out my Visa this season...LOL Last year it begged for mercy.

Here is a view of the back of my SUV after I spent 3 hours at JoAnn's this morning! All of the flannel is for Threads of Love newborn intensive care comfort items, and up to $500 of the $600 I spent will be reimbursed.
I don't get reimbursed as I didn't buy for a charity.
I donate it all to charity.

I had a great time too. We chatted with lots of other people waiting. There were just a couple of crabby people that you could tell didn't really want to be there. My MIL and I spent $150 and saved $227.

Isn't it absolutely great when you wait long periods of time and people are generally not CRABBY.
I have been very fortunate when I have done the wait in lines for Black Friday.
Always friendly people to talk with and before you know it the time has gone so fast. Sometimes you learn incredible things from those you spend a short amount of time with.

Patti,
I'm going to be dumping it all into storage locker tomorrow if no rain.
No room for it here.
I make quilts for the abuse shelters and foster children so need lots of fabric...but not in house all at one time.
