The only thing I download to my Kindle is free books.
I still prefer paper books and mags that I can pass around and refer back to. I have a library of keeper books that I just cant get rid of. |
I like my laptop and the things I can do with it, but it can never replace the feel of a book in my hands, or the pleasure of touching the papaer. I'm one who will pass on the ebooks and magazines. Downside of being a hands on book lover is the amount of space my books etc take up, cant get around that one!

Bella - Thanks but it keeps giving me the message saying I do not
have a subscription when I paid for it on Dec 1 2012. I have sent 3 emails with no response period. So today I am calling them and going to force the "ugly" head of nasty attitude back into the box. We will see if that helps.

Sandy - I went directly to the McCalls website and purchased my subscription
I get the print issue just fine, for BOTH McCalls Quilting and Quick Quilts, and I get the digital issue of the MCQ just fine.

I purchased a digital subscription from Country Living and it took e MONTHS of contacting them to find out why my magazines never came. They pointed the fingers at Zinoi but Zinio was never notified of the subscription.....Zinoi would send e the mag each month because I would send them n email...FINALLY. Country Living got their act together and confirmed my subscription....and added a free year to compensate e for my aggravation.
Lesson learned...buy digital magazines thru Zinio directly. They are the ones who set up the digital delivery. Sandy |

I like the print versions of the quilt magazines better and am on the fence about digital copies; some I like some I don't.
I have a space problem and will probably go digital but I don't think the software for the digital mags is very good. |
With e version can you delete what you don't want from it? At least I can cut out something I want then toss the rest w/hard copy or pass it on to someone else. Also, can you print out from comp. version
