I like it as it is, but I don't think you will rest until your "mistake" is fixed. I agree that if you rip anything it should be the top and bottom.

Unless it really bugs you I would leave it like it is, it makes it yours, unique.

I agree with dunster. If you like to have all the sides match, flip the top and bottom sides. You can give your quilt a unique name such as Coming Home and that is why you have the geese flying inward (just like you planned,:))

Your quilt is beautiful BUT if it still bugs you then I would opt to change the top & bottom to match the sides. When I have been in your position I hated to rip things out but once I got started it went pretty fast & in no time I had it done. It's YOUR decision.
